The aim of the project is the development of national biomedicine research platform addressing public health challenges in S3 domain “Biomedicine, medical technologies and bio-pharmacy”. The Project aims at development of National biomedicine research platform addressing public health challenges in RIS3 domain “Biomedicine, medical technologies, biopharmacy and biotechnologies” in line with the mission statement of the State Research Program. To reach the aim of the project the following Objectives will be pursued: 1. Development of new products, technologies, and methods via selected pilot projects; 2. Enhancement of scholarly output, especially by increase of multidisciplinary and interinstitutional research publications; 3. Development of HR research capital both by the advancement of the research profile of established scientists and academic education; 4. Development of knowledge base to support collaboration with industry including hospitals as well as applications for translational research projects and participation in international research consortia.
