The initial phase of the project will include preparing a commercialisation plan for the product launch to the market exploring strategies for reaching potential customers. Feasibility studies and development of commercialisation strategy will be completed within the first two quarters of the project implementation period by outsourced experts with experience in the commercialization of research products
The main aim of the project is to develop a multifunctional, cloud based data collection and analysis platform to enable a provision of a personalised diet, lifestyle and treatment options based on microbiome analysis.
The project implementation will give an opportunity to establish the product with high added value in accordance with the RIS3 investment priority No.1 (High added value products) within the perspective field of Biomedicine, the priority specialization area No.2 of RIS3. Therefore, the project will bring a significant contribution to the achievement of one of the major RIS3 aims “Future growth of sectors in which exist or may be products and services with high added value”. Implementation of the project will strengthen the knowledge base as well as allow to attract young capable specialists to the growing field of biomedicine, thereby, supporting RIS3 activities towards improvement of knowledge base and renewal of human resources (priority No.6). Overall, this interdisciplinary project involves the following fields of science according to OECD classification: biological sciences (1.6.), computer and information sciences (1.2.), clinical medicine (3.2.), and health sciences (3.3.).
