RESEARCH AND EDUCATION IN BIOMEDICINE FROM GENES TO HUMAN

APP “Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre” announces a written auction for the intellectual property – know-how: “GUT IT platform prototype and information on platform architecture, intestinal microbiome taxonomic composition reporting algorithm and intestinal microbioma data reference database”.

The auction object is a simple license for the rights of usage of the intellectual property – know-how: “GUT IT platform prototype and information on platform architecture, intestinal microbiome taxonomic composition reporting algorithm and intestinal microbiome data reference database”.

The intellectual property has been developed in scope of the project No. KC-PI-2020/30 “Dynamic human microbiome data platform and interpretation tool for personalized health recommendations” within the measure 1.2.1.2. “Support for the Improvement of Technology Transfer System” of the specific support objective 1.2.1. “To increase private sector investment in R&D” of Action Program “Growth and Employment”.

The application for participation in the auction must be submitted in the form of an electronic document, signing it with a secure electronic signature, before August 2, 2022 at 11:00 (EEST) and sending to the e-mail address iepirkumi@biomed.lu.lv.

The application for participation in the auction can also be sent as a registered letter by post or submitted in person to APP “Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre” in a sealed envelope, indicating: “Application for the BMC Intellectual Property Auction.”

Starting price of the auction object: interest payments in the amount of 5% (five percent) of the annual turnover of the sold products.

The winner of the auction will be the participant who bids the highest price of the auction object.

Time and place of opening of applications: August 3, 2022 at 11:00 (EEST) in person at APP “Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre”, Rātsupītes iela 1 k-1, Riga, LV-1067.
