Within the framework of the PMNET forum, Nils Rostoks, Director of the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre, signed an agreement for participation in EATRIS – the European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), together with Riga Stradins University, the University of Latvia, and the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis.
The European infrastructure for translational medicine aims to combine the research infrastructure and expertise of European countries for high-quality translational medicine projects, with the goal of accelerating the development of new diagnostic methods and drugs, as well as ensuring their implementation in practical medicine and promoting scientific excellence.
Participation in EATRIS provides access to public and private sector collaboration projects, networking opportunities with researchers in the field of translational medicine, as well as participation in and access to training programs on current developments in translational medicine.
