To ensure a shared understanding of the key stages of technology transfer, terminology, and collaboration mechanisms—and to strengthen institutional capacities in this field—technology transfer and intellectual property experts, scientists, and other interested parties are invited to take part in the webinar series “Fundamentals of Technology Transfer: From Idea to Innovation.”

On 12 February at 10:00, the webinar “Invention Disclosure, Evaluation and Protection” will feature Dr. sc. ing. Artis Kromanis, European Patent Attorney, who will share his knowledge and practical experience.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

• invention disclosure (documentation) in the research and development process;

• initial evaluation of a disclosed invention – patent searching and freedom-to-operate analysis;

• steps, timelines, and the life cycle of invention protection;

• methods for assessing the value of an invention.
