On 9 January 2026, the Third Structural Biology Conference will take place at the University of Latvia’s property in Ratnieki, with the support of Instruct-LV.

Instruct-LV is one of the research sites (Research Site) of the European structural biology infrastructure consortium Instruct-ERIC. The conference is expected to bring together around 30 participants from various organisations, including the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis (OSI), the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre (BMC), the University of Latvia (UL), as well as the companies Molport and Biosan.

The Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre is implementing project No. 1.1.1.5/3/24/I/006 “Development of Latvia’s research potential by strengthening the integration of the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre into European infrastructures and scientific networks”, within which the Latvian National Partnership Plan of the Integrated Structural Biology Infrastructure (Instruct-ERIC) is being implemented.
