The Precision Medicine Conference will take place in Riga on May 22

 

 

Aim of the conference is to explore precision medicine trends and opportunities which covers topics as big data and analytics for life quality improvement, ICT and technology impact on precision medicine, research and university role in biomedicine development, preventions and next generation national health system.

43rd Scientific Research Conference of Latvian Students

On the 12th and 13th of April this year, the Riga Technical University (RTU) hosted the 43rd Scientific Research Conference of Latvian Students, with 387 of the best works developed by 458 pupils. Scientists of Latvian Biomedical Research and Studies Centre join presidential visit to Hamburg

 

 

On 21-25 February 2019, President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis visited Germany to promote cooperation between Latvia and Germany in the field of business and science. The purpose of the visit was to present the opportunities offered by Latvia in the fields of smart cities, smart materials, biomedical and robotics, for which German businessmen and scientists expressed great interest and willingness to develop further cooperation. Scientists, Dr. biol. Kaspars Tārs and MSc. biol. Gints Kalniņš, from the Latvian Biomedical Studies and Research Centre also participated in this visit.
