Kaspars Tārs in fight with Covid-19

Although currently being determined increasingly new interstate frontiers however, it seems never the whole world has not been so united in the fight against the invisible enemy coronavirus. All the world's scientists are working on a united front to find the medicine who can overcome it. The latest news shows this week in the world's first Covid-19 experimental vaccine trial volunteers to be started by American and French scientists. Work on vaccine development is also underway in Australia, China, Great Britain and elsewhere.

Among those countries that focused on the development of new drugs in the fight with coronavirus, is also Latvia. In Latvian Biomedical Research and study centre together with Swiss colleagues get involved two research groups in the fight with Covid-19. The guest in the program "Future Stop" - (this time, subject to safety precautions - remotely) will be the leader of one research group - Study director of the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Center, Department of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biology, University of Latvia, Associate Professor Kaspars Tārs.
